Welcome to NCSpatriotssports.com where you will find schedules, rosters, results, and team information from all our Newark Charter athletic teams.

Fall Sports - 2024

We are excited to announce that High School Fall sports will begin on August 12th with the following sports: Volleyball, Football, Boys Soccer, Field Hockey, Cross Country and Unified Flag Football (will not start until first week of September). Any student athlete from 8th grade through 12th is eligible to tryout if they have submitted a cleared DIAA Physical by August 5th and are in good academic standing. Tryout information will be posted on the Team Info section on the sports website by sport and you also can find the coach's contact information if you have questions for them. You can also sign up for Team App (free) and look for NCHS Fall Sports and register under the category that applies to you. If you have questions about the DIAA Physical or anything else related to fall sports please feel free to contact Mr. Shivery at greg.shivery@ncs.k12.de.us

To be eligible for tryouts, student athletes must have a cleared DIAA physical on file in the nurse's office & be in good academic standing according to NCS policy. Any physical submitted after August 5th will require a two-day processing period before cleared. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Shivery at greg.shivery@ncs.k12.de.us

NCS MS Fall Athletics - 2024

FALL SPORTS:
Week of 8/26/24:
Practice/Game Schedules: Tryouts will start the week of 8/26:
Boys Soccer - Monday/Wednesday 3-5pm practices and tryouts @ JHS
Cross Country - Monday/Wednesday/Thursday 5-6:15 practices @ White Clay Creek SP
Field Hockey - Tuesday/Thursday 3-5pm practices and tryouts @ JHS
Volleyball (A) - Tuesday/Thursday 3-5pm practices and tryouts @ JHS
Volleyball (B) - Monday/Friday 3-5pm practices (tryouts are on Tuesday and Thursday with A) @ JHS

Sports Physicals are $30.00 (cash, check or credit). Student must be accompanied by parent or guardian if under age 18 (with a photo ID). They should bring a copy of their vaccines as they do not do them there. Office is open 8am to 8 pm.

Athletic Fees

HS Athletic Fee: $125 per sport
HS Football Fee: $250
MS Athletic Fee: $75 per sport.
**All checks should be made out to Newark Charter School and please submit them to your team coach or athletic directors. Online payment is available. Please see below.

Parents should go to the NCS homepage - click Parents - select Online Ordering. https://newarkcharterschoolonline.org/ There is an option for Middle School Sports - $75; as well as an option for HS ($125) and football ($250) of the current school year.
